The Spiral Curriculum is based on Bruner's belief that "a curriculum ought to be built around the great issues, principles, and values that a society deems worthy ofthe continual concerns of its members", thus determining whether the content is deemed worth of the continual (Bruner, 1960, p. 52).
The Spiral Curriculum was used througout the lesson becuase I was building off of the students past knowledge of basic math that they had learned in school. We were "revisiting" the basic ideas of math and building upon that until the students had a grasp on the new method I was teaching them, dimentional analysis.
